ABSORBS SOUND · DECORATIVE

BLOCKS SOUND

Mass Loaded Vinyl

A dense, flexible barrier that stops noise passing through walls, floors, ceilings and doors. The soundproofing layer.

Best for: walls, ceilings, doors, machine rooms

Know your problem

Two problems, two solutions

Most people mix these up. Knowing which one you have saves money.

Problem 01

Echo inside the room

Voices sound hollow, recordings sound muddy. Sound is bouncing around instead of fading out. You need to absorb it.

Use: Acoustic Foam, PET Acoustic Panels

Problem 02

Noise getting in or out

Traffic, neighbours or loud equipment leaking through walls. Sound is passing through the structure. You need to block it.

Use: Mass Loaded Vinyl

Want both? Many rooms have both problems. Fit MLV on the walls first to block noise, then add foam or PET panels over it to control echo.
